2026 JustGiving Awards Voting Ts&Cs
2026 JustGiving Awards Voting
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS VOTING FOR A SHORTLISTED NOMINEE.
Terms and Conditions
JustGiving Awards 2026 are operated by Giving.com Limited (trading as “JustGiving”), a company registered at 5 Churchill Place, 10th Floor, London, United Kingdom, E14 5HU (referred to in these terms and conditions as “we”, “our”, “us”).
Please read these terms and conditions before nominating someone for an award, voting for a shortlisted nominee or attending the JustGiving Awards ceremony.
What are the Awards for?
JustGiving’s annual awards recognise outstanding contributions to fundraising by individuals and groups who have used JustGiving. (“Awards”). The JustGiving Awards are all about recognising amazing stories and inspiring others to fundraise. The winner(s) will receive an trophy, along with a secret surprise prize tailored to the winner(s).
Who can be nominated for an Award?
For all Awards, you can nominate someone if they have/had an active JustGiving page between 01/01/2025 and 31/03/2026. It does not cost anything to nominate, and you can nominate as many people (including yourself) as you wish. But please only nominate someone who you know will be happy to be nominated and will not object to you providing their information to us. You can see the full Ts&Cs for the nomination period here
What are the award categories?
- Rising Star Award
- Social For Good Award
- Mind over Miles Award
- Outstanding Commitment to a Cause Award
How does the voting process work?
For all Awards, all shortlisted nominations will be opened to a public vote. Voting opens on 12th August 2026 and closes at midnight on 13th September 2026. There are three ways you can submit your votes – via this form via Instagram and via TikTok. You can submit votes using any and all of these methods. For each method, you will have the opportunity to make one vote in each category.
Voting via the form
Votes must be submitted through the official voting form. You can vote in one or more category and can come back at a later date (before the deadline) to submit votes in the other categories you have not voted in.
Voting via Social media
Starting on Wednesday 12th August and finishing Saturday 15th August, we will publish a dedicated voting post for each finalist across our @JustGiving Instagram, YouTube Shorts and @JustGiving TikTok accounts.
Each voting post will feature information about an individual finalist and explain how to cast a vote. Posts that form part of the vote will be clearly identified as official voting posts.
How social voting works:
Every engagement with a finalist’s official voting post will count as a vote for that finalist. Eligible engagements include:
- Likes
- Comments
- Shares
- Saves
Votes are counted only against the specific finalist featured in the post you engage with.
For example, if you like, comment on, share or save the voting post for Finalist A, your engagement will count as a vote for Finalist A. If you engage with the voting post for Finalist B, your engagement will count as a vote for Finalist B, regardless of any intention to support another finalist.
Only engagement on official voting posts will be included in the vote count. Engagement with any other content published on the @JustGiving social media channels, including non-voting posts, stories, videos or comments elsewhere on our accounts, will not be counted as votes.
By engaging with a finalist’s official voting post, you are casting a vote for the finalist featured in that post.
Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 13th September 2026 and any votes submitted after this point will not be counted.
The winner of each Award will be the person with the highest number of valid votes submitted via the form and via social media engagements (under eligible posts published by @JustGiving on Instagram and TikTok) by the relevant closing date. Votes that are not submitted through the official voting form or via engagements (as stated above) on the specified posts on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube will not be counted.
Voting in the 2026 JustGiving Awards is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
How will my nomination or vote be used?

We will not share your data with anyone except as necessary in connection with the Awards (e.g. the Awards Ceremony venue) or otherwise permitted by these terms and conditions. BY MAKING A VOTE, YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THAT YOUR NAME, YOUR NOMINEE’S NAME AND THE CONTENT OF YOUR NOMINATION MAY BE MADE PUBLIC OR USED IN THE MEDIA, OR IN CASE STUDIES OF WINNERS OR SHORTLISTED NOMINEES. YOU ARE FREE TO MARK ANY INFORMATION OR SENSITIVE PARTS OF THE NOMINATION AS ‘NOT FOR PUBLICATION’ AND WE WILL RESPECT THIS. IF YOU HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR AN AWARD AND DO NOT WISH TO BE A NOMINEE OR FOR YOUR INFORMATION TO BE MADE PUBLIC, PLEASE CONTACT US AND WE WILL REMOVE YOUR NAME AND PAGE FROM THE LIST OF NOMINEES.
If you submit a vote for an Award, we will keep in touch with you about the progress of the Awards process. If you do not want to receive these updates, you will be able to opt out of receiving them.
